These images were created by applying acrylic paint to several layers of fabric. When displayed together they imbue the animals with depth and motion. (See Videos page) I am in pursuit of the ethereal, transitory, and vulnerable qualities these animals represent in our human world.

The Whimsical Side These images emerged when I created a few birds wearing hats made from the feathers of other birds. It was another way to perceive Victorian custom. Ideas then diverged.
